
Dorrigo pepper (Tasmannia Stipitata) is a hot native pepper that is native to Australia,
only found in the Dorrigo - Ebor area of NSW.
(Other native peppers eg Tasmannia Lancolata, are found in Tasmania and southern parts of NSW, and is lower in intensity than Dorrigo Pepper)
It is known for its unique flavor and heat, which can build up slowly and linger on the tongue after eating. Dorrigo pepper is used in a variety of traditional Australian dishes, including bush tucker, and is also used to add flavor and spice to curries, stews, and dips.
